How To Play

Basic Rules and Tips for Playing Foosball:

  1. Game Setup
  • Teams of 1-4 players per side face each other across the table
  • One ball is served through the central hole
  • The first team to score 5 goals typically wins

  • Hold the handles firmly but not too tight
  • Rotate rods to move players (no spinning!)
  • Push/pull rods to move players side-to-side
  • Keep all rods in a neutral position when not in use

  • Pass the ball between your rods to advance forward
  • Use the side walls – they’re part of the playing field
  • “Lock” the ball by pressing it against the wall with a player
  • Take shots by flicking your wrist (not spinning the rod)

  • No jarring or lifting of the table
  • Dead balls (balls out of reach) are served to the last team scored upon
  • The ball must be served to your 5-bar (midfield) first

  • Use the foosball table only for its intended purpose
  • Keep hands out of the playing field while others are playing
  • Don’t allow anyone to sit, lean, or place drinks on the table
  • Maintain a clear area around the table (minimum 3 feet on all sides)
  • No food or drinks near the table
  • Adult supervision is required when children are playing

Important Safety Rules for Kids

  • Always keep hands away from moving rods
  • No reaching inside the table to grab the ball
  • One player per rod position
  • No lifting or moving of the table
  • Use only the provided balls
  • No hanging or leaning on the rods

DO NOT

  • Move or relocate the table (contact us if needed)
  • Attempt to adjust or repair the table
  • Remove safety features or warning labels
  • Allow unsupervised children to play
  • Expose table to rain if set up outdoors
  • Use the table if any parts appear damaged

Weather Considerations (For Outdoor Events)

  • Use the provided cover when the table is not in use
  • Move players away from the table if lightning is present
