How to Play: Trash Can Tipping Challenge
Game Setup
- Three trash cans will be set up in a row
- A throwing line will be marked 15 feet away from the trash cans
- Each player takes their position behind the throwing line
Basic Rules
- Players take turns throwing balls at the trash cans
- Each player must keep both feet behind the throwing line when throwing
- A successful hit is when a trash can is completely knocked down
- The goal is to knock down all three trash cans
How to Win
- First player to knock down all three trash cans wins!

Safety Guidelines

Equipment
- 3 standard trash cans (colors may vary)
- Designated throwing balls
- Distance markers/tape for throw line
- Safety/barrier zone markers
Player Requirements
- Minimum of 2 players
- Suitable for all ages with adult supervision for children
- Maximum 10 players per game recommended
Game Setup Requirements
- Clear, flat surface area required
- Minimum 20’ x 10’ play space needed
- Throwing line must be exactly 15 feet from trash cans
- Players must stay behind designated throwing line at all times
Gameplay Rules
Each player gets 3 throws per turn
Players must:
- Keep both feet behind the throw line
- Use only provided throwing balls
- Wait for “all clear” before throwing
- Throw one ball at a time
Scoring:
- Each knocked-down can = 1 point
- Cans must be completely tipped over to count
- First player to knock down all 3 cans wins
- Partial tips do not count
Prohibited Actions
- NO physical contact with the cans
- NO entering the target area during play
- NO throwing balls at other players
- NO moving the throw line
- NO using personal throwing objects
- NO moving or adjusting cans during play
Weather Conditions
- Game must be stopped during:
- Rain or wet conditions
- High winds (15+ mph)
- Any severe weather
